it was my first time photographing fireworks.  the street sign is there for when the lake freezes over and becomes an ice road.  but that’s still months away.

the farmer’s market at the mca is a great way to spend a tuesday.  i bought a succulent for my office.

while i’m not an avid hockey fan, i do love sports.  and a good rally.  standing 4 hours in the heat with 2 million of my closest fans listening to some guy give the weather report every 2 minutes was worth it to feel the energy of this city.  i [heart] chicago.

forsythia in chicago is hit or miss from year to year.  i’m glad it’s a hit this year.

just dance

i had the honor of photographing the 5th annual dancing with chicago celebrities on friday night.  it was incredible.  and beautiful.  and stretched me in new creative ways.
